The 2021 edition from Jim Beam's much-anticipated, annual Booker's True Barrel Bourbon releases - always cask strength and without chill filtration. Released in incredibly limited quantities, this expression has been matured for 6 years, 11 months and 4 days in American white oak before bottling at an eye-watering strength of 62.65% abv.
Plenty of vanilla and oak on the nose, followed by a sweet and creamy palate with flavours of candied almonds, citrus and peanut butter. This bourbon has a long and drying finish with a hint of cocoa at the end.
