From the Hekinan Distillery comes the Hinotori 5 Year Old, a small-batch Japanese blended whisky crafted with real care. The distillery celebrated its 70th anniversary with this limited release, made on Honshu from a blend of (corn and wheat) grain whisky, and malt whisky, all matured for five years in new American white oak barrels. Non-chill filtered, it carries a naturally creamy character with plenty of vanilla and orchard fruits shining through. Bottled at 43% ABV.

Our Hamish has had a sip and jotted down his thoughts.
Nose: Dried apple and pear, almond, vanilla pod, and a faint hint of dry toast.
Palate: Smooth and nicely biscuity, with peach, soft vanilla, and a touch of salted caramel giving it extra warmth and sweetness.
Finish: Gentle chocolate notes, a bit of gingerbread, and a clean, lingering oak spice.

If your item is damaged in transit or you receive an item that is clearly different to that ordered, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. We will arrange a free return via courier and issue a full refund to your original payment method once we have received the returned items.
