Independently bottled by Gordon & MacPhail for their famous Connoissuers Choice range, this 1999 Benriach single malt whisky has spent 21 years in a refill American hogshead before being bottled in October 2020 at a sturdy 55% abv. 

As always with this range, no chill-filtration has been used. Highly limited, just 165 bottles have been produced from this spectacular single cask.

Hamish Says

Nose: Sweet citrus aromas, pineapple, honey dew melon and orchard fruits with a hint of cocoa.

Palate: smooth flavours of peach and milk chocolate lead to a slight methol edge; soft poached pear notes combine with toasted oak.

Finish: medium-bodied and sweet with lingering aniseed.
