Auchroisk

Auchriosk, (pronounced ‘oh-thrusk,’) is a very large distillery in Banffshire, in the Speyside region of Scotland. Built in 1974 by Justerini & Brooks, it was originally intended solely to supply a constant source of malt whisky for the J&B blend. This was not meant to be, however, and was later developed into a fine single malt when the bourbon matured spirit was given an extra year in sherry casks.
