Balblair distillery is one of Scotland’s first distilleries, and has been producing Highland single malt whisky since 1790. Situated in Edderton, in the Northern Highlands of Scotland, Balblair distillery takes its water from the springs of Allt Dearg. Their non age statement liquid is selected by distillery manager John MacDonald, who samples and selects which casks have reached their optimum maturation point and are ready to be bottled.
