Sitting in Moray, on the banks of the River Spey, the Cardhu Distillery was founded in 1824 and rebuilt by the owner’s daughter in law, Elizabeth Cumming. This is a classic Speyside malt, with a rounded taste and clean finish. When John Walker and Sons Ltd bought over the distillery in 1893, Cardhu became one of the main ingredients in Johnnie Walker blended whisky.
