Imperial
Imperial distillery was originally built as a second distillery for Dailuaine, with the name ‘Imperial’ given to commemorate Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee which occurred in the year it was founded, in 1897. The distillery has fallen into several periods of silence, before it was mothballed for the final time in 1998. In 2005, Pernod Ricard bought the distillery, with no plans of revival.
