Kilchoman

The Kilchoman distillery is well known as one of the newest and smallest distilleries in Scotland, and is located on the west coast of Islay. Famous for its traditional methods of whisky making, the distillery grows its own barley on site, and has its own malting floor for this process too. Drawing its water from a spring on Cnoc Dubh, single malts from this distillery are non chill-filtered and 80% are matured in ex-bourbon casks. The two stills at Kilchoman have a annual capacity of 90,000 litres.
