Longmorn
Longmorn Distillery is located in Elgin, in the heart of Speyside, and was founded in 1895 by John Duff, founder of Glenlossie Distillery. Production began in the same year, and they built a second distillery next door, which later became BenRiach. The distillery has eight stills and an annual capacity of 3.5 million litres. Its spirit is commonly used in Chivas Regal blends, as it has been under Pernod Ricard ownership since 2001. In earlier days, it was rarely seen as a single malt, however recently there have been frequent independent bottlings available.
