Speyburn

Speyburn Distillery was built in 1897 by John Hopkins & Co, the then owners of Tobermory Distillery on the Isle of Mull. It draws its waters from the nearby Granty Burn. Speyburn is a very traditional distillery, as almost all the original equipment is still used today to produce the popular, gentle and easy-natured spirit. A small percentage of the whisky is matured and bottled as single malt, and the majority is used in blended whiskies. This is one of the most popular brands of single malt on the United States market.
