This is a limited edition expression, inspired by the life and work of Jules Verne. This particular expression was distilled in October 1990 at the Bruichladdich distillery on Islay, before maturing for 25 years in a refill hogshead. This Authors’ Series is a range of exclusive single malt whiskies, created by the prestigious blenders and bottlers, Hunter Laing & Co. This is a limited edition expression, inspired by the life and work of Jules Verne.

Jules Verne (1828-1905) is widely recognised as one of the most influential writers in the Science Fiction genre. Although many of his ideas were based on the latest technology of his time, Verne's invention was such that works such as 'Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea', 'Journey to the Centre of the Earth' and 'Around the World in Eighty Days' continue to thrill readers more than a century later.

Returns

If your item is damaged in transit or you receive an item that is clearly different to that ordered, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. We will arrange a free return via courier and issue a full refund to your original payment method once we have received the returned items.

If you wish to cancel your order for any other reason, contact us within 14 days of delivery. You will be responsible for the cost of returning your items. Items must be returned within 14 days from the date of cancellation. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method when we receive the items.
