The latest release of the small batch peated single malt from Islay's Bunnahbhain distillery. Although famed for its very lightly peated whisky, the distillery does produce some small amounts of heavily peated spirit. Ceòbanach takes its name from the Gaelic for smoky mist.
Nose: Peat smoke in a pine wood, digestive biscuits and some vanilla.
Palate: Sea spray and rock salt, white pepper and some spices, liquorice sticks.
Finish: Long, smoky and maritime.
