Chichibu Single Cask #1700

This single cask Japanese single malt was distilled at Ichiru Akuto's Chichibu distillery in 2012. The distillery itself is Japan's youngest, founded in 2007 from the ashes of Akuto's grandfather's Hanyu distillery. This expression has been matured in cask #1700, a new American white oak cask, producing just 268 bottles at a cask strength of 62.4% abv. This release was originally an exclusive to the Swedish market.
