Hamish Says...
Our Hamish has had a sip and jotted down his thoughts.
Nose: sweetness and bready notes, all lifted nicely by a touch of ginger and a nip of orange peel.
Palate: Baking spices, candied ginger and a lovely honeyed waxiness that clings on in the best way. The Moscatel is there, but it’s not shouting about it, just adding a wee layer of intrigue.
Finish: Medium to long, swinging between sweet oak and a gentle peppery kick, tidy and satisfying to the last.
