Dalmore 45 Year Old 2022

This 2022 edition of The Dalmore Highland single malt has been aged for a total of 45 years. Initially matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, the whisky then matured in Cabernet Sauvignon barriques. It is transferred back into ex-bourbon casks before maturing in tawny port pipes which previously held 20 year old port. The liquid is then married together with aged whisky matured in ex-bourbon casks and aged Port Colheita pipes. This expertly crafted marriage was overseen by Dalmore Mater Distiller, Richard Patterson. Presnted in a magnificent bottle, the expression is bottled at 42% abv.
