Darkness Auchentoshan 26 Year Old

Sherry & spice = the perfect pairing!

An independent bottling from Darkness of Auchentoshan single malt from the Lowlands. This 26-year-old expression has been finished in a specially-coopered Oloroso sherry octave cask, allowing for huge sherry-bomb notes, before being bottled at 40.2% abv at 50cl per bottle. 

The aromas on the nose are ripe orchard fruits, Demerara sugar and orange blossom honey. Scones with jam are rich on the palate, alongside more herbal and spicy notes. The finish has both milk and dark chocolate with some dried fruits.
