GlenAllachie 10 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 4 Description

Batch 4 of the ever popular cask strength series from The GlenAllachie distillery, this expression has been matured in a combination of Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry puncheons alongside a small quantity of Virgin Oak casks. Bottled at natural colour, without any chill filtration, this fourth batch has been limited to just 2,600 cases worldwide and is bottled at 56.1% abv.

Hamish Says

Nose: cinnamon, ginger and hints of chocolate.

Palate: bursting with dried fruit, raisins and redcurrants.

Finish: more chocolate with oak and orange peel coming through to finish.
