When John Grant purchased the distillery in 1865 he did so for the sum of £511 19s 0d. These days Glenfarclas is famed for its family ownership, and embodies the spirit of independence. The 21 Year Old is a full bodied and incredibly rounded whisky that will leave you refreshed and contented.
Nose: Sherried tones and tropical fruit, nutmeg and almonds, vanilla and very subtle sweet smoke.
Palate: Full bodied, fruity and spicy with a pale wisp of smoke.
Finish: Long with chocolate notes.
