Glenglassaugh was founded in 1875 by Colonel James Moir. The distillery is just outside the Speyside region in the North East of Scotland making it a Highland distillery. The Glenglassaugh 1978 cask number 1810 was matured over 35 years and finished in the finest Port Hogshead. This expression is part of the Batch 1 release of single casks. It is non chill filtered and of natural colour. This single malt captures red fruit notes spiced with gentle blackpepper corns.
