Brilliant whisky

I’ve had a soft spot for Arran since first trying the 10yo some years ago, and the 14yo certainly carries the baton. The nose has a lovely aroma of green apples and the smell of fresh rain. You still get apples on the palate, and a butterscotch creaminess – apple tart with caramel & honeycomb ice cream. It fades to a fantastic warm finish with dessert spices. My only criticism is that I preferred the old tin!
