This limited edition Islay single malt was released in celebration of the 2019 Islay Jazz Festival. The eighth release in the annual series from Lagavulin, this expression has been matured in a combination of refill and re-charred American oak hogsheads for 21 years before bottling, a special age to commemorate the Jazz Festival's 21st year. Bottled at a strength of 50.1% abv, just 2,004 bottles have been produced.

Nose: smoky with a strong briny, maritime influence.
Palate: crisp smoky bacon with a drying gunpowder note and a touch of cooling eucalyptus.
Finish: long and satisfying.
