Gustave Flaubert Born in France in 1821, Gustave Flaubert was a leading proponent of literary realism – an ethos which he carried into his personal aesthetic. Devoted to a life devoid of the inexact, abstract or clichéd, Flaubert was known for the painstaking process of writing and revision which he dedicated to every creation “trying to write harmonious sentences avoiding assonances”. Returns

If your item is damaged in transit or you receive an item that is clearly different to that ordered, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. We will arrange a free return via courier and issue a full refund to your original payment method once we have received the returned items.

If you wish to cancel your order for any other reason, contact us within 14 days of delivery. You will be responsible for the cost of returning your items. Items must be returned within 14 days from the date of cancellation. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method when we receive the items.

Please note that any personalised, engraved, bespoke or made-to-order items, or items with a broken seal, are non-refundable unless faulty.
