Our Hamish has had a sip and jotted down his thoughts.
Nose: bright and bold at full strength, sweet and fragrant with water – lots of heady, perfumed fruit and vanilla delicately accented with spice.
Palate: lots of fruit and no shortage of spice – confit citrus, hot honey, rhubarb-and-custard gummies and candied ginger.
Finish: lively yet lingering, marmalade and freshly-cracked pepper melding with soft tannins.
