Old Pulteney 21 year old
70cl / 46% abv
Matured in hand selected American ex bourbon and ex Fino sherry casks. A worthy winner of Jim Murray's world whisky of the year in 2012. At a time when Wick was only accessible by sea, it became famous for two sources of prosperity barrels of silver (herring) and gold (whisky) which left the port in vast numbers.
