40% vol. / 70cl
Originally created by the Chivas master blender as a salute to Queen Elizabeth II on her coronation in 1953, a blend of whiskies no younger than 21 years old. The porcelain flagon, crafted by the world-famous artisans at Wade, is sculpted in Cornish clay from the Jurassic-era, then naturally air-dried and finished by hand with a double layer of glazing to protect its precious contents. The three different colours of glaze used to dress the flagons - Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald - symbolize the precious gems on the Imperial State Crown.
Nose: Rich and fruity while sweetly floral, dry oak and subtle smoke.
Palate: Deep rich fruity flavours, sweet marmalade and subtle smoke, some spices and hazelnut.
Finish: Rich, long and lingering.
