46% vol. / 70cl
This rusty copper coloured Campbeltown Single Malt from the region's oldest working distillery is full of authority and is a classic, full-bodied dram. The delicious nose will tempt you in and hold your attention as the unique palate unfolds.
Nose: rich and creamy with vanilla. ripe fruits and marzipan developing, before hints of sherbet, almonds and strawberries emerge.
Palate: thick and oily, fruity and mellow, giving way to sweet liquorice and aniseed notes as it opens up.
Finish: long and consistent with a smokey tingle and aspects of sweet chocolate and coconut.
