Hamish Says...
Our Hamish has had a sip and jotted down his thoughts.
Nose: typical Springbank with damp hessian cloth followed by treacle, Highland Toffee, marzipan, nougat and toasted oak.
Palate: balanced, silky and smooth, with forest fruits, toasted marshmallows, pecan and walnuts before cotton candy and butterscotch emerge with a zesty orange peel.
Finish: oily and fruity, treacle with tobacco leaf, citrus fruits and a briny maritime influence.
