The Knockdhu distillery nestles under the mysterious Knock Hill which is known to locals by its Gaelic name of anCnoc. The hill provides the spring water that is used to make this malt whisky.
Nose: Sweet and spicy, mince pies and fruit loaf, some floral notes.
Palate: Full bodied, blood orange, cloves and dried fruit. The smallest suggestion of smoke over polished leather.
Finish: A long rich finish with sweet charred oak.
