Glenturret

The Glenturret distillery has a very vague history, but its owners claim that it Is the oldest working distillery in Scotland, with distillation having taken place in the early 18th century. Certainly, the Hosh distillery was registered in its location and recorded illegal distillation as early as 1717. History aside, the distillery is now famous for producing most of its whisky for the Famous Grouse Blend, and the visitor centre is one of the most popular in Scotland. There are a handful of independent bottlings, although no official distillery expression.
