Distilled at the Pulteney Distillery in Wick, this Highland single malt has spent a quarter of a century maturing in a combination of American and Spanish oak, all the while breathing in the invigorating sea air of the Caithness coast.
Nose: spicy dark chocolate with rum-soaked raisins and lime honey, before clean orange peel and baked apples.
Palate: bitter chocolate and creamy vanilla with sweet toffees, coconut and crisp lemon overtones.
Finish: long and spicy with dried fruit cake and exotic wood.
