Highland Park 18 Year Old Description
Hamish Says...
Our Hamish has had a sip and jotted down his thoughts.
Nose: Immediately noticeable is a rich oaky character which shows this is an older whisky. Behind that though there is the signature heather smoke that Highland Park is famous for.
Palate: Honey and dark fruits coat the palate, a beautifully rich sensation. Then like the tides that lap the Orkney Islands the peat gradually creeps in becoming more and more evident.
Finish: The finish is long but remarkably soft and rounded.
