Highland Park, Single Cask, Hunter Laing

Distilled in September 1997 at Highland Park distillery on Orkney before maturing for 19 years in a refill hogshead, this Island single malt has been bottled by family-run bottler Hunter Laing & Co. as part of the Old Malt Cask range of single cask expressions. Presented at a preferred strength of 50% abv without chill filtration or colouring, only 210 bottles have been filled.
Nose: orange, butterscotch and vanilla.
Palate: milk chocolate, orange and heather.
Finish: satisfyingly smoky with brown sugar and milk chocolate.
