Our Hamish has had a sip and jotted down his thoughts.
Nose: powerful smoke tempered by sweet rich oak with notes of dried fruit, giving way to buttered toast, vanilla, pine needles and green apples with a dusting of cinnamon.
Palate: sweetness, peat smoke and rich toasted oak ignite the taste buds, before coconut, lemon peel, caramel and sweet orange emerge.
Finish: long and lingering with honeysuckle and vanilla fading into smoke.
