Showcasing The Macallan's mastery of wood, this Speyside Single Malt is the result of a creative partnership between Bob Dalgarno of The Macallan and the Roca Brothers of El Celler de Can Roca restaurant in Catalonia. Combining casks from a number of cooperages and bodegas, this second annual limited release has a unique flavour profile while retaining the classic flavours and aromas of The Macallan.
Nose: treacle toffee, ginger, apples and layers of vanilla combine with rich fruit and subtle green wood notes.
Palate: cracked black pepper, cloves and chocolate notes mingle with oak, nuts and brown sugar.
Finish: full, slow and warming.
