The First Editions Authors’ Series is a range of single cask expressions, created by the prestigious blenders and bottlers, Hunter Laing & Co, in celebration of pioneering writers. This is a limited edition expression, inspired by the life and works of Bayard Taylor. Distilled in September 1990 at Campbeltown's Springbank distillery, this single malt was matured in a refill hogshead for 30 years before bottling in December 2020. This 51st release in the series is limited to just 103 bottles, each one presented at 44.1% abv. Bayard Taylor (1825-1878) was an American poet and travel author.  While he was proudest of his poetry, Taylor is hailed as the first great travel writer to come from American.   Read More

Distilled in September 1990 at Campbeltown's Springbank distillery, this single malt was matured in a refill hogshead for 30 years before bottling in December 2020. This 51st release in the series is limited to just 103 bottles, each one presented at 44.1% abv.

Returns

If your item is damaged in transit or you receive an item that is clearly different to that ordered, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. We will arrange a free return via courier and issue a full refund to your original payment method once we have received the returned items.

If you wish to cancel your order for any other reason, contact us within 14 days of delivery. You will be responsible for the cost of returning your items. Items must be returned within 14 days from the date of cancellation. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method when we receive the items.

Please note that any personalised, engraved, bespoke or made-to-order items, or items with a broken seal, are non-refundable unless faulty.
