The Last Drop Dumbarton 1977 Description
This single grain Scotch whisky has been brought to us from renowned 'rare spirits hunters' The Last Drop Distillers. Just as Star Wars and the Apple II were introduced to the world, this expression was distilled at the now lost Dumbarton grain distillery on the banks of the River Clyde in 1977. Matured for more than four decades before bottling, this single cask expression has been selected for its superior quality and limited to just 150 individually numbered bottles, each one presented at a strength of 48.4% abv. Released in 2019, this whisky was awarded Single Grain Scotch Whisky of the Year in the 2020 edition of Jim Murray's Whisky Bible.
