Nose: initial aromas are quite dry: sandpaper, match boxes and dried flowers; with a little time it develops, first offering plums and damson jam, then a burst of fresh fruits, peaches, apricot and stewed apple.
Palate: first taste offers a sweet palate with gentle spices, golden syrup, pear drops and a touch of pineapple; black pepper brings those spices to the fore, but on a sweet base reminiscent of a rice pudding wine.
Finish: great depth and warming with pepper and nutmeg and a touch of charcoal.
