The fourth chapter in the Torabhaig Legacy Series, Sound of Sleat, takes its name from that wild stretch of water between Skye and the mainland. This cracking single malt is made with a mix of Concerto and Laureate malted barley, peated to over 78 PPM and fermented with 100% Pinnacle MG yeast for a full 72 hours, showing off the distillery’s ever-evolving style of “Smoke with Taste.” It’s matured in Quercus Alba American oak, drawing its depth from first-fill heavily toasted barrels, first-fill Kentucky Bourbon casks aged four to six years, and well-seasoned Bourbon barrels with more than a decade behind them. Bottled at 46% ABV with no chill filtration or added colouring, it keeps all its natural character and a hearty, full-bodied feel. Read More

Our Hamish has had a sip and jotted down his thoughts.

Nose: Gentle aromas of orange and apricot dance with sweet maritime seaweed, a hint of popcorn, soft pipe tobacco, and wee touches of honey, vanilla, and boiled sweets.

Palate: Light oak spice and rich, sweet bonfire smoke, balanced by honey and vanilla, a dash of sea salt and seaweed, and a wisp of white pepper and sweet spice.

Finish: Lingers long and elegant, with a honeyed warmth and a taste that calls to mind Skye’s storms and the salt spray of the sea.

Returns

If your item is damaged in transit or you receive an item that is clearly different to that ordered, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. We will arrange a free return via courier and issue a full refund to your original payment method once we have received the returned items.

If you wish to cancel your order for any other reason, contact us within 14 days of delivery. You will be responsible for the cost of returning your items. Items must be returned within 14 days from the date of cancellation. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method when we receive the items.
