Wire Works Virgin Oak Finish Description
A limited release of 3,061 bottles, having been finished for 8 months in only 12 virgin oak barrels. Lightly peated and then matured for three years in first fill ex-bourbon barrels, this cracking English single malt was bottled at 51.7% abv by White Peak Distillery in The Peak District. 100% natural colouring and free from chill filtration.
The distillery's spot in the forests by the river Derwent is a world heritage site. The former Johnson and Nephew Wireworks was a pioneering factory during the industrial revolution.
