The first whisky from the Glasgow Distillery has finally landed and it does not disappoint. First opening its door in 2012 and being the first independent single malt whisky distiller to do so in Glasgow city since 1902 the Glasgow distillery has taken great care in producing their debut malt, the 1770, to the highest standard. After all fist impressions matter. Using only the finest Scottish barley and purest water taken from Loch Katrine to hand craft their spirit in their individually named stills (Tara and Mhairi). They then matured this spirit in a first fill ex bourbon cask and finished it in a new virgin oak cask to create a wonderfully complex and sweet whisky.

Hamish Says...
Our Hamish has had a sip and jotted down his thoughts.
Nose: filled with dried fruits, toffee and vanilla that then mellow into light floral notes.
Palate: a burst of butterscotch fills the mouth and then develops into subtle flavours of fresh pears, blackberries and almonds.
Finish: thickly spread orange marmite with hints of nutmeg and cinnamon that transform into a peppery and woody flavour.

If your item is damaged in transit or you receive an item that is clearly different to that ordered, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. We will arrange a free return via courier and issue a full refund to your original payment method once we have received the returned items.
