Talisker Single Malt Whisky
Talisker is a modest distillery, founded in 1830, and the only distillery located on the Isle of Skye. The malted barley has been bought in from Glen Ord since 1972, when they abandoned their own onsite malting. Despite having a capacity of just over 2 million litres annually, Talisker sells around 100,000 cases each year, and has a good reputation in the whisky world. It is now one of the most popular single malt brands in the UK, with a strong following of those who enjoy the characterful and peaty flavours in the whisky.
