It's not often you get a smokey Speysider, but it turns out that Benriach has been breaking that tradition for over 50 years!
The long-awaited 'Smoke Season' is a superbly smoked single malt whisky that shows off the Speyside distillery's sweet peat. Created with 100% intensely peated malt, Smoke Season has been double matured in both American virgin oak and bourbon casks and bottled at 52.8% abv.

Nose: orange peel, chocolate and rich caramel.
Palate: decadently layered with sweetness from the virgin oak casks, with dark vanilla and stewed apple, alongside dry oak, woody smoke and gentle spice.
Finish: nutty with a smokey peppercorn aftertaste.
