Our Hamish has had a sip and jotted down his thoughts.
Nose: Thick oak spices. Creamy vanilla custard and stewed apples. Buttercream and Madeira cake with a hint of polished oak.
Palate: Rich and complex – sweet and chewy with lots of oak, vanilla and buttercream – just a hint of oranges, coconut and strawberry jam.
Finish: Very lengthy and full finish. Strawberry jam, coconut and lots of vanilla eventually fading to a delicious warmth.
