Littlemill 1991 Connoisseurs Choice Description
A step into history. From the Littlemill Distillery, proven to be the first and oldest licensed whisky distillery, receiving a license from King George the 3rd to ‘retail ale, beer and other excisable Liquors’. Once you try this, you will be glad this was given!
Specially selected, produced and bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in 2010, this bottle was distilled in 1991. This distillery sits at the mouth of Loch Lomond, known for being at the border between the Highlands and the Lowlands. So, to us it is fitting that a Highland-based producer oversees bottling of this beautiful Lowland whisky. A collaboration that ancestors would have been proud of!
Nose: aromatic, citrus.
Palate: zesty, fruity.
Finish: long, smooth finish.
