Deanston have always done things their own way, and this 17-year-old is a brilliant example of why that pays off. After 15 years in ex-bourbon casks building up all that lovely honeyed richness, the whisky heads into rare Vino de Naranja casks (fortified wine made with sun-dried orange peel) for a further two years. The result is a burst of Spanish sunshine in a glass, bottled at 53.6% abv.
