From Foursquare’s trophy-collecting Exceptional Cask Selection series, Mark XXVI rum is another fantastic Barbados spirit.

Made of three aged and blended rums using Foursquare’s signature distillation process, utilising a double retort pot-still and twin column stills, this liquid is full of flavour and character from its interesting dual maturation. The liquids spent three years in an ex-Bourbon cask, 13 years in an ex-Oloroso sherry cask, as well as a second maturation comprising nine years in ex-Bourbon and seven years in ex-Oloroso Sherry.

Our Hamish has had a sip and jotted down his thoughts.

Nose: Dark and rich, think dark chocolate, sun drenched raisins and coffee.

Palate: Soft and silky, with creamy vanilla, salted caramel and tart pineapple. 

Finish: Heavy on the spice and tartness with dried mango, more pineapple, gingerbread, lemon zest and a lingering oakiness.

Returns

If your item is damaged in transit or you receive an item that is clearly different to that ordered, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. We will arrange a free return via courier and issue a full refund to your original payment method once we have received the returned items.

If you wish to cancel your order for any other reason, contact us within 14 days of delivery. You will be responsible for the cost of returning your items. Items must be returned within 14 days from the date of cancellation. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method when we receive the items.

Please note that any personalised, engraved, bespoke or made-to-order items, or items with a broken seal, are non-refundable unless faulty.
