The Golden Cask range of whiskies are specially selected to give a representation of the distillery and region of their origin. Bottled exclusively for us at Loch Fyne Whiskies, this Ardmore 12 Year Old has been matured in an ex-bourbon American oak cask, distilled in December 2008 and bottled in March 2021, left free from chill filtration and at a cask strength of 60.3% ABV. A truly one of a kind whisky, this is a single cask release limited to 225 bottles. A highland malt, Ardmore is usually medium smoky in character anyway but this one is bumped up in smoke levels with it's 100% maturation in a barrel previously used to mature an Islay malt. Hamish Says...

Our Hamish has had a sip and jotted down his thoughts.

Nose: aromas are instantly smoky with iodine and very heady.

Palate: candied sweet, mint toffee and creamy white chocolate with a touch of water revealing fresh summer grass, fruit salad chews and a light nuttiness.

Finish: nice oily texture, malty and chocolatey with mellow scorched grass and some sweet tobacco smoke.

We care about our impact on the environment, so during checkout you can choose our Reduce & Recycle service to remove any unwanted gift cartons, tubes or boxes, from your order. We'll recylce wherever possible or return them to the manufacturer.

Returns

If your item is damaged in transit or you receive an item that is clearly different to that ordered, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. We will arrange a free return via courier and issue a full refund to your original payment method once we have received the returned items.

If you wish to cancel your order for any other reason, contact us within 14 days of delivery. You will be responsible for the cost of returning your items. Items must be returned within 14 days from the date of cancellation. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method when we receive the items.

Please note that any personalised, engraved, bespoke or made-to-order items, or items with a broken seal, are non-refundable unless faulty.
