70cl 40% abv Scotch Whisky Single Malt Speyside
We would love to see the cork popped on this. This rare vintage offering from master bottlers Gordon & Macphail is a 1966 vintage Glenlivet. Matured in oak casks 47 years (nothing much, hey!) its fair to say it has picked up an outstanding depth of flavour. This outstanding dram was bottled at 40% abv and is free from chill filtration and the addition of any artificial colouring.
Coming in a splendid black box, and with an arresting dark amber hue, this is a knockout whisky.

Nose: vanilla, honey, pineapple, green apple.
Palate: white pepper, toasted oak, grapefruit, chocolate, lime.
Finish: medium, creamy, delicate.
