Distilled in 1992 at Loch Lomond distillery using a unique straight neck pot still, this vintage Highland single malt has experienced a long maturation in refill bourbon barrels to combine the peat and fruit driven distillery character with softer cask influences, resulting in an elegantly balance of fruit and spicy peat.
Nose: gentle medicinal peat, toasted oak, creamy vanilla and herbal peppermint.
Palate: peat and fruit combines with subtle wood notes, with a sweet medicinal quality mingling with juicy pineapple, vanilla and cinnamon.
Finish: long and warming with cinnamon, nutmeg and rich oak.
