Kingsbarns Balcomie Cask Strength Limited Edition

Kingsbarns is a family owned Lowland distillery over on the sunny East Coast in the Kingdom of Fife. Balcomie is a single malt made using local barley and matured completely in ex-Oloroso American Oak sherry butts. Due to the characteristics of this sherry, the casks impart a notable nuttiness and rich spice with lingering flavours of gentle oak. Kingsbarns have bottled this limited edition release of Balcomie at a cask strength of 59.9% abv, free from any chill filtration, with a natural deep auburn colour.
